DigiFox Aims for Users to Be Their Own Bank

Popular crypto enthusiast, Nicholas Merten, is now the CEO and founder of DigiFox. Described as, "Finance for Everyone", the company allows users of it's app to earn on their savings, buy cryptocurrency and send money globally.

The company plans to offer much better interest rates than traditional banks for it's customers. The average interest rate for savings accounts in the US is 0.09%. Digifox, has announced it will offer rates 50-100x higher. According to it's website, customers can start earning 5-9% today.

DigiFox is not a cryptocurrency, but rather a smart wallet. The company wants to provide a decentralized banking experience as it aims to help it's customers become their own bank and manage their own funds.

Merten describes the company and problems it wants to solve for it's customers on it's website,
"At Digifox, we believe that finance is outdated. In today's world, you can need up to a dozen different applications to manage every aspect of your finances, banks pay nearly 0% interest on your savings, and payments end up costing the global economy over $1 trillion dollars every year. It's our shared belief that this is unacceptable. So, we set out to not only build finance for the modern world, but for everyone.
With Digifox, we bring you the best financial services all from within one application, offer the ability to earn higher rates of interest on your savings, and send money across the globe."
The company recently provided these highlights about it's business:
  • Celsius deposits grew by 781% MoM, from $12,262.23 to $108,110.65
  • We've grown our number of users with funds from 387 to 693, a 79% MoM
  • App Store score rose from 4.1 to 4.5 stars and 2.5 to 3.1 for Google Play in 2 weeks
  • Global customer response time is down to less than 30 minutes on average
