When Bitcoin Cash hard-forked in November, two coins were created Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Clashic. The Bitcoin Clashic chain has been maintained by some developers that now plan to rebrand the coin with the name Bitcoin Core (BTCC). They are embracing the term that has been used by Bitcoin Cash supporters to describe Bitcoin (BTC).
If things weren’t confusing enough for new investors in the technology, on the official website of BTCC the developers are claiming that the coin is “Satoshi’s vision”, the same argument made by Bitcoin Cash supporters.From the official website: “Bitcoin Core (BTCC) is open source, peer-to-peer electronic cash. Bitcoin Core is a fork from Bitcoin $BTC, Bitcoin Core $BTCC was nourished through a labor of love, in preparation for this mission. Bitcoin Core ($BTCC) is an upgrade of Bitcoin Clashic. The true vision of Bitcoin Core is to compliment Bitcoin, and run along side it, by acting as an express lane for core values, speed and privacy.”
