In October Russia published orders to regulate cryptocurrency. On December 28th lawmakers met to draft a bill.
Alexei Moiseev, Russian Deputy Finance Minister, met with reporters and stated, "We do not want to over limit and overregulate, but we will set some limits. The general idea that it will be allowed to buy and sell cryptocurrencies only on exchanges with official status and assets will have to be declared and legalized."
