Nintendo Starts 2018 Strong With New Switch Games

Nintendo continues momentum in 2018 with new games and content for the Nintendo Switch. The company debuted a new Nintendo Direct Mini video presentation spotlighting a selection of first- and third-party titles coming in early 2018. Switch owners will see a variety of new games, updates and DLCs arriving in the next few months.
“Nintendo Switch is the fastest-selling home console in history, and Nintendo is not taking our foot off the gas in 2018,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “For the millions of people who just received Nintendo systems as gifts, or consumers getting ready to join the growing community of Nintendo Switch owners, Nintendo and our third-party partners have fun new games and content in store at retail or for digital purchase.”
Nintendo shares are up 200 percent since 2016. Nintendo's earnings have been helped by strong Switch console sales. The company said it has sold more than 10 million Nintendo Switch consoles and has upped its forecast for Switch sales saying it expects to sell 14 million units by the end of March 2018.
